Praxis Automation Far East is proud to announce the successful integration of its Dynamic Positioning (DP2) and Vessel Management System (VMS) aboard Caracara 6401, a self-elevating platform delivered by Navtech Marine Services for offshore operations.
This collaboration marks a key milestone in delivering scalable, automation-driven offshore solutions. Praxis’ technology ensures precise vessel control, enhanced safety, and optimized performance for high-demand marine environments such as offshore construction, maintenance, and energy support.
Navtech Marine, under the leadership of Mr. Steve Haro, continues to lead innovation in offshore vessel design. “With the Caracara 6401, we sought to combine structural strength with digital precision. Praxis delivered a system that met both our technical and operational expectations,” said Mr. Haro.
Praxis supplied a fully integrated DP2 and VMS package, engineered for seamless interoperability between propulsion, navigation, and safety systems. The solution includes proprietary hardware and in-house developed software designed to support 20+ years of operation with guaranteed spare parts availability — reinforcing Praxis’s Obsolete-Free Technology™ promise.
“This project reflects our shared focus with Navtech on building smarter, more resilient offshore platforms,” said Jerome Lin, Sales Director at Praxis Automation Far East. “We’re proud to support Caracara 6401 as a new benchmark in offshore readiness.”
This partnership highlights Praxis’ expanding role in offshore digitalization and demonstrates how innovation and long-term lifecycle support can drive the next generation of offshore vessel performance.
