Electric Propulsion
Praxis Integrated Electric Propulsion (IEP) delivers clean, efficient power for nearshore operations—combining propulsion motor + drives, energy storage, and automation control into a single, integrated system. Designed for simplicity, space savings, and long-term performance, Praxis IEP reduces fuel use, lowers maintenance, and supports hybrid or fully electric setups. One partner, one platform—built to move more with less.
Emission-free. Engine off.
Sail entirely on battery power for clean, silent operation. Just plug in at port, charge up and sail, no fuel, no engine noise. Ideal for harbors, ECO zones and short-range mission.
Electric Mode
Battery powers the motor. No engine, just smooth and silent sailing.
Shore Charge Mode
Plug in at dock. System charges the battery automatically.
Electric power, engine backed range.
Cruise on electric power, with engine generating electricity when needed. Engine sending power to the motor or batteries. Great for low-speed ops with backup for longer trips.
Electric Mode
Diesel Electric Mode
Engine runs to generate electricity. Powers the motor when battery is low.
Diesel Charge Mode
Engine charges the battery only. No power sent to the motor.
The best of both worlds.
Use engine, electric motor, or both-depending on what the job needs, both power sources are connected to the shaft. Ideal for variable-speed ops and long trips, with better fuel economy and system redundancy.
Electric Mode
Diesel Mode
Engine drives the shaft. Electric system stays off.
Boost Mode
Engine and motor work together. More power when you need it.
Split / Charge Mode
Engine powers the shaft while also charging the battery.
Re-Gen Mode
As the shaft turns, the motor recovers energy and recharges the battery.
