Sales Engineer – Singapore

The Role

At Praxis Automation, we build systems that don’t expire before the ship does. As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical-commercial bridge between customers and our Obsolete-Free Maritime Technology™—helping offshore operators, shipyards, and navies modernize with confidence.

Based in Singapore, you will engage prospects, understand operational needs, propose tailored solutions, and help deliver the kind of lifecycle-focused systems Praxis is known for. You won’t just sell products—you’ll help shape the digital and electric future of maritime.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end sales cycle, from opportunity discovery to technical proposal
  • Engage with technical teams from shipowners, shipyards, and government agencies
  • Translate operational needs into clear, practical system configurations and quotations
  • Collaborate with engineering, project, and service teams to ensure solution fit and deliverability
  • Attend site meetings, trade events, and vessel visits as needed to build trust and insight
  • Maintain CRM updates, quote pipeline, and follow-ups with discipline

Requirements

  • Background in electrical, marine, or automation engineering preferred
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (sales, presales, project, or service role)

The Role

As Country Sales Manager, you’ll lead the commercial growth of our automation and electrification systems in your territory, building long-term relationships and strategic wins that define Praxis’s presence in the region.

This role blends strategy and execution. You’ll engage high-level stakeholders, shape go-to-market plans, and coach local teams—all while being close enough to the field to know what matters most to your customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive revenue growth in your assigned country/region
  • Build trusted relationships with shipowners, shipyards, agents, and government customers
  • Lead local sales strategy and coordinate cross-functional resources
  • Develop pipeline, negotiate key deals, and close long-cycle and short-cycle opportunities
  • Track market trends, tender opportunities, and customer feedback to steer future positioning

The Role

At Praxis Automation, service isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of the product. As a Service Engineer, you’ll ensure our IPMS, DP, and electric drive systems run reliably in the real world. From dockside commissioning to remote support, your work keeps offshore and naval vessels ready for mission or duty.

This is a hands-on, field-facing role. You’ll be part technician, part troubleshooter, and part trusted advisor—helping customers keep complex systems simple, supported, and operational.

Responsibilities

  • Perform onboard commissioning, diagnostics, and repair of Praxis systems
  • Respond to urgent service calls with technical accuracy and professionalism
  • Support lifecycle services including upgrades, refits, and software updates
  • Train customer crews and support teams on proper operation and maintenance
  • Collaborate with project and engineering teams to close feedback loops
  • Document service actions and maintain accurate logs in the service system

Requirements

At Praxis Automation, project delivery is where engineering meets execution. As a Project Engineer, you’ll manage the technical realization of our automation and electric propulsion systems—ensuring every vessel, newbuild or retrofit, gets the performance Praxis is known for.

You’ll coordinate between design, service, and sales, translating technical specs into real-world outcomes. From schematics to FATs, this is a role for engineers who want to see their systems in action.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical scope of customer projects from kickoff to commissioning
  • Coordinate design, documentation, and integration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support customer reviews, site meetings, and FATs
  • Ensure timely delivery of engineered systems and as-built documentation
  • Identify risks early and ensure compliance with class, yard, and Praxis standards
  • Work alongside service teams for installation and handover

  • Oversee full-spectrum finance functions: accounting, reporting, cash flow, and compliance
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support executive decisions
  • Monitor project margins and operational costs—ensure profitability across business lines
  • Handle tax, audit, and regulatory matters with external partners and local authorities
  • Streamline internal processes, controls, and reporting systems for clarity and efficiency
  • Collaborate with regional leadership and HQ on financial strategy, planning, and risk management
