Announced during Indo Defence, Praxis Automation Far East has confirmed a new contract with BTI-DEFENCE to deliver the Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) and Dynamic Positioning System (DP-2) for a 92-meter Submarine Rescue Vessel beingdeveloped for the Indonesian Navy.
Following a rigorous technical and operational evaluation, BTI Defence selected Praxis for its open system architecture, seamless third-party integration, and consistent operator interface across vessel modules. The system’s intuitive layout and operational efficiency support complex naval missions while reducing crew training time and maintenance effort.
“In a project as critical as a submarine rescue mothership, reliability and long-term lifecycle support are non-negotiable,” said Peter Fujita Tjahjono, Director of BTI Defence. “After careful evaluation, we chose Praxis Automation Far East for their integrated approach, operational simplicity, and commitment to Obsolete-Free Technology. Their systems align with our mission to deliver future-ready platforms that support both safety and performance at sea.”
Jerome Lin , Managing Director at Praxis Automation Far East, stated:“Our IPMS is engineered as a fully integrated control backbone. Having previously delivered similar systems to the Indonesian Navy, this new collaboration reflects the continued trust placed in Praxis. We are honoured to support Indonesia’s naval development once again with reliable and scalable solutions.”
This partnership underscores a shared focus on mission-critical performance, digital integration, and lifecycle reliability for next-generation naval support platforms.
